Before his second book went to press, 'Toasty Bun's', was included in the original draft of Morgan's 'BEACH' from St. Martin's Press. However, when the photographer received Ernesto Mestre's lyrical prose which was initially written as a 'forward' for the publication he insisted the text be weaved throughout the book. Morgan volunteered to cut 12 images and redesign the publication only ten days before it was shipped to China for printing. This image is one of those 12 cut from the original design. It evokes the photographer's sense of whimsy often seen in his works. Each fiber-based print is a custom work produced by the photographer’s master dark-room artist.
