From St. Martin's Press BEACH (2000), 'Behind the Glass Doors' has become one of the photographer's most sought after images. Perhaps the discrete nature of the work makes it so popular. He recently presented an 11x14 framed copy to friends and it immediately took residence in their new home in Asbury Park in-- where else?-- their bathroom. Not surprisingly he has a copy in his bathroom as well.
