'Dr. Mike' is the first model David Morgan ever shot as a male nude. In 1989, while performing in a Fire Island production of 'Anything Goes', the photographer was asked to create a poster image for the musical production. That image is responsible for the photographer's sudden career change. Dr. Mike, although only appearing on the poster, created such a sensation during ticket sales the musical's director was compelled to invite the doctor to make an appearance in the show. At the top of act two he simply crossed the stage and 'struck the pose' from the poster. Today he continues practice medicine in NYC. These are NOT ink-jet reproductions.
